May 2005. CLICK-into and Sister Company Nisha Technologies, in partnership with
Itronix won an exclusive three-year agreement to provide the Royal Canadian
Mounted Police (RCMP) with approximately 1500 GoBook™ III notebooks. The RCMP
are replacing their existing laptops currently being used by general duty
police.
The award winning Itronix GoBook III's will also be deployed to specialized
groups and task forces. Mounted in police vehicles, the GoBook III laptops will
be used to receive electronic dispatches. Officers will also be able to respond
to these dispatches, complete reports, and wirelessly submit the reports to
their respective stations.
